The Origin of W & L Software Services LLC
The company was established in 2007 by it's founders, Lisa and Walt, in order to
bring multiple talents to bear on software solutions. We feel that balanced
solutions, focused on real business results or metrics, are the best solutions.
It is also important to understand the business market for our customers.
Our vendor partners provide a wide range of options to fit very small businesses
to large enterprise businesses, so finding a great fit is an important step to achieving
a great
solution.
Location
W & L Software Services is located near Knoxville, Tennessee. This location
is very important for us, as it is a great transportation hub for the entire East
Coast of the United States and West out to the Rocky Mountains. Knoxville
is home to the large University of Tennessee, Knoxville and several smaller colleges.
Several major scientific centers are in nearby Oak Ridge. The immediate area
has a wide variety of talent, from creative to academic, to help address specialized
needs.
Software Services, Tools, and the Community
While our main business is consulting on software solutions, we recognize that a
firm should be diversified to survive the ups and downs of the economy. We
will be around for the long term, to provide continuing
service for our clients.
We will also market off-the-shelf solutions, software development tools and
utilities, and various publications. Because of the diversity of talent and
partnerships we bring together, W & L Software Services LLC may be associated
